School Sports Coordinators Programme (SSCO)

Silverdale are part of the Points School Sports Partnership along with 5 other secondary schools - Westfield (our Sports college), Newfield, Yewlands, High Storrs and Chaucer.  Silverdale have a cluster of primary schools attached to it and we work closely with them in developing and supporting their needs for PE and school sport.  These schools are Ecclesall Infants and Junior, Dobcroft Infants and Junior, Springfield and Clifford Primary Schools.  Sporting competitions and festivals are regularly held within the cluster and at Silverdale extra sporting opportunities are offered to the students to support the active PE department.
