Welcome to the BSF Website for Sheffield in the Third Year of the Program ...

“We’re delighted that the BSF programme in Sheffield continues to make excellent progress. In 2009 our local partnership was highly commended by the government for the excellent stakeholder relationships we have fostered both within construction and ICT activities. With the first four schools constructed in their second year of operation and performing well, this year will also see completion of two small projects at Spring Lane PLC and Firth Park. In addition, we should also see a number of other sizeable projects under construction as well as some of the existing schools in the Sheffield estate receiving ‘ICT only’ infrastructure, assets and a full managed service identical to the schools due for construction.

As the relationship matures we are continuously seeking to improve our performance and a range of ‘lessons learnt’ workshops have been invaluable in this regard. Hopefully this will assist us in delivering our vision of ‘creating great places where Sheffield’s children and their communities can learn and flourish’.

This website is dedicated to providing an overview to stakeholders in the city on what is happening on the programme and the key partners. It is not intended to identify detailed activity at each school, often communicated through the school’s website, local stakeholder forums or newsletters. Please continue to give us your feedback so we can work with you to create learning environments future generations can be proud of.”
